and the other, the ULS System, can be reached at

The ULS part is mostly about your license.
CORES is mostly about your FCC Account

FRN
Your FRN number is like your Social Security number ... you get one and it stays with your forever. The FRN is the one thing the FCC uses to identify you.Your email, address, phone number and passwords change with time.

It is your responsibility to keep this information up to date on the CORES website.

Keep in mind, for topics dealing with your license, go to the ULS system. Go to CORES for issues with your account.

FYI:
  • All FRN numbers begin with two zeros
  • FCC websites do not like Safari, Duck Duck Go, and Brave browsers
  • FCC websites do like Firefox, Chrome, and Edge browsers
  • Your email is your User Name
  • Your Login password applies to both systems
  • Your FRN is required before taking either of the three license examss
